Hi, I'm Dan

A scientist's mind for a human craft.

I have spent my career obsessed with one question: what actually makes a great leader, and can it be taught? Twenty-five years leading sales, marketing, medical, and operational teams in the pharmaceutical world gave me the pattern. A PhD in Management at Case Western Reserve gave me the proof.

My research focused on the neuroscience of coaching, engagement, and performance inside the leader and team-member relationship. Today I bring that work to the stage as Chief Coaching Officer at Braintrust, to the classroom as a professor at Miami University, and to the page as an author.

My passion is simple: creating world-class communicators who make a positive difference, one conversation at a time.
